Mix up with the Photo Contest due dates..... Deadline to our office is March 9th. Please mark your calendars.

Fashion Show and Textile Show is coming up fast. Names of members interested in competing in either of these shows need to be sent to Annette by March 5. We have received names from one club as of this date.

Award nominations for adult leader volunteers are due to our office by March 2. We have received NONE as of this date. We have a lot of great volunteers, we need you to nominate them. Also businesses that have given donations.

If you are interested in the County Fashion Show or County Textile Show, members names are due to us by March 5 to Annette.

Austin Stock Show passes are in and ready to be picked up, see Annette.

Qualifying Horse Show entry forms have been sent to horse leaders for the next show on March 24. Entries are due to our office by March 12.

We have not had a good response for sign up at the 4-H Booth in the Texas Experience barn. Rumors are, we may not have a booth next year, because it has not been manned this year. If you can give a couple of hours, please give me a call to sign up. You get in free to the rodeo grounds, don't have to pay to park, its a great deal for a couple hours of your time. Reminder, members get to put this in their recordbooks under Promoting 4-H. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HAS MANNED THE BOOTH THIS WEEK, WE HAVE HAD SEVERAL CALLS ABOUT JOINING 4-H. That is what manning the 4-H booth is all about......telling people about the great 4-H Program we have in Bexar County. How much fun kids have in 4-H and all the opportunities they have in their 4-H career.

County Photography Contest is coming up fast. If you are interested encourage them to start taking pictures and get them ready for the contest.

The March Qualifying Horse Show entries have been mailed to your horse leader. If you have any members interested in competing in this contest, please share the entry form with them.

There are several awards available for adult volunteers and businesses that have donated to 4-H. We hope each club is filling out the award nomination form for someone in their club or a business your club has received donations from. The forms are due to our office by March 2.

If you have any time on Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., stop by the Morris Activity Center on the Stock Show grounds and visit the free hands on booths for kids (face painting, balloon art, popcorn, crafts) ALL FREE.

School Tour Committee called and they need tour guides for all day's ages 13 and up. If you can help out, give me a call.

If any members are exhibiting at the Star of Texas, passes are in. See Annette.
The 4-H Booth has a lot of shifts still available for manning. You will hand out brochures, do hands on activities and talk to people who visit our booth about 4-H. This is a great opportunity for members to Promote 4-H and put it in their recordbook.

If you are a graduating senior and would like to get a scholarship ranging from $5,000 to $15,000, encourage them to apply for the 4-H Foundation Scholarship due to our office by Wednesday, Feb. 7, 5 p.m. Application is on our website. There are also many other scholarships to apply for, check out our website.

If you have any members interested in sewing or shopping the County Fashion Show is the contest to enter. Check out the article in the newsletter for more information and due dates.
We have a lot of great volunteer leaders like yourselves, please nominate each other for the leader awards listed in the newsletter. Deadline is March 2, to our office.

If you are exhibiting at the Houston Stock Show, eligibility forms are due to our office by Feb. 16.

Floresville Livestock Judging Contest is Saturday, Feb. 24. For an entry form contact Annette. Deadline is Feb. 17.
